Beginning Birding

Have you even seen an unusual bird and wanted to know what it is, or noticed birds in your yard and wanted to know what they are? You may be a birder and not even know it. Bird watching (Birding) is enjoyed by millions of people around the world. Bob Bryerton, Program Coordinator with the Forest Preserve District of Will County, will cover the basics to get you started. You will also go on a short hike in the park to get some practice. Bring your binoculars and bird books if you have them.
