Park District Rec Care

Welcome to the Peotone Park District Rec Care program! Rec Care is an after-school program designed to provide activities focusing on health, nutrition, fitness, and fun for children kindergarten through fifth grade attending the Peotone School District. Our goal is to offer parents and guardians peace of mind and provide a safe place for your child/children. Our specialized program offers a wide variety of activities in a structured setting.

This handbook has been developed as a guide for the Rec Care program. We hope it provides you with the information necessary to ensure a pleasant experience for you and your child/children.

Communication will be key to the success of this program. Communication with parents, students, park district staff, school district staff, and others is critical. We want everyone to work together to ensure a great school year.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns now or anytime throughout the school year we encourage you to contact the Park District Manager at 708-258-3343 or email
