MINUTES OF PEOTONE PARK DISTRICT REGULAR BOARD MEETING September 14th 2021          

  1. ROLL CALL: Park District meeting called to order at 7:02 pm. Present Barbara Sim, Jacklyn Van Overmeiren, Shaun Ziems, Lindsey Schwiesow. Also present in person Kelly LaMore, Park Manager.
  2. APPROVAL OR CORRECTIONS TO MINUTES OF August 17th 2021 PEOTONE PARK DISTRICT BOARD MEETING: Motion to approve by Shaun Ziems, Seconded by Jackie Van Overmeiren. Roll call: Shaun Ziems yes, Jackie Van Overmeiren yes, Barbara Sim yes, Lindsey Schwiesow yes.  Motion passed 4/0.
  3. PUBLIC COMMENTS AND/OR QUESTIONS Ed West was present to a potential rebate for led sport field lighting-see attached.

  6. COMPLIANCE/LEGAL REPORT– Barb Sim spoke to Mr. Stein re: access and repairs to Blue Devil Drive.

  10. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND PAYROLL– Motion to approve as presented by Jackie Van Overmeiren, second by Shaun Ziems, Roll call: Jackie Van Overmeiren yes, Shaun Ziems yes, Barbara Sim yes, Lindsey Schwiesow yes.  Motion passed 4/0.

  5. SCHEDULE PUBLIC HEARING ON PRELIMINARY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE– Motion to Approve Public Hearing to be scheduled on November 9, 2021 at 6:45 pm*, by Jackie Van Overmeiren, seconded by Shaun Ziems Roll call: Jackie Van Overmeiren yes, Shaun Ziems yes, Barbara Sim yes, Lindsey Schwiesow yes. Motion passed 4/0.

  1. CORRESPONDENCE/COMMUNICATIONS/PETITIONS- Barb Sim sent in information regarding the refunding of the bond to the Vedette on September 9th 2021.
